The Tupelo Veteran's Museum is located in Tupelo, Mississippi directly behind the Oren Dunn City Museum. Tony Lute, the museum's curator has seriously collected items associated with the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War and the Vietnam War since the 1960's and is grateful to the many donors who have entrusted him with their treasures.

The Museum origianlly located in the Barnes Crossing Mall was known as the "Tupelo War Memorial". Mr. Lute moved the museum to Ballard Park and inside the Oren Dunn Museum. Since the move Mr. Lute has expanded the museum to feature many new exhibits.

Mr. Lute not only collects but also keeps up with each item and the story behind it. He is very active with the Veteran's of the Tupelo and Lee County area. From hosting a weekly breakfast at the local Legion and a special ceremony on Veteran's Day. Mr. Lute drives to honor those that have served our country and those that have paid the ultimate price for the freedoms and liberties that we can now enjoy.
